The higher officials of the university had a discussion with the leaders of Ethio Telecom North Region about the Telecom services that will be provided by the university.

The university’s senior managers and IT professionals discussed with Ethio Telecom Northern Region officials about the exit exam, the national graduate entrance exam (GAT), and other telecom services today, December 12, 2016, at the president’s office.
Ethio Telecom’s Northern Region Enterprise Manager, Mr. Mesgna G/Selassie, has explained the overall activities Ethio Telecom is doing in the digitalization process.
During the discussion, the president of the university, Professor Tadesse Dejene, said that the university should work to modernize telecom technology services. He said that the necessary preparations are being made for the students to pass the exit exam and the national graduate entrance exam (GAT) successfully.
Dr. Nega Afera (Vice President of Academic, Research, Community Service, and Technology Transition at the University) said that the organization should provide professional support to us to successfully pass the exit exam, GAT, and remedial exam and to strengthen other telecom services at our university.
Director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Mr. Biniam W/Gebriel, thanked the organization for the university for the different telecom services and commented on the problems of the telecom services of the university through the website, fiber, and others.
The leader of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) infrastructure team at the university, Mr. Kibele Atssebha, said that our university should give an immediate response to solve the problems of telecom services.
Professionals from the organization (Mulu W/Selassie (Regional Director), Teame Birhanu (Wireless Manager), and Hailu Tadesse (Key Account Supervisor)) have responded to the questions raised by the university administrators and information and communication experts.
Finally, it has been revealed that the organization, in cooperation with our university, will expand the different modern telecom services at the university.

የኢትዮ ቴሌኮም ሰሜን ሪጅን ኢንተርፕራይዝ ማናጀር የሆኑት አቶ ምስግና ገ/ስላሴ በዲጂታላይዚንግ ሂደት ኢትዮ ቴሌኮም እያደረገ ያለውን አጠቃላይ እንቅስቃሴ ማብራርያ ሰጥተዋል።
በውይይቱ የዩኒቨርሲቲው ፕረዚደንት ፕሮፌሰር ታደሰ ደጀኔ ዩኒቨርሲቲው በአዲስ የቴሌኮም ቴክኖሎጂ አገልግሎቶች ለማዘመን ሊሰራ እንደሚገባ ገልፀው የተማሪዎች ከዩኒቨርሲቲ ወውጫ ፈተና (Exit Exam) እና አገር አቀፍ የድህረ ምረቃ መግቢያ ፈተና (GAT) በዩኒቨርሲቲው ውጤታማ በሆነ መንገድ እንዲሰጥ አስፈላጊውን ዝግጅት እየተገረገ ይገኛል ብለዋል።
ዶ/ር ነጋ ዓፈራ (የዩኒቨርሲቲው የአካዳሚክ፣ ምርምር፣ ማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት እና ቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር ምክትል ፕረዚደንት) እንደገለፁት በዩኒቨርሲቲያችን Exit Exam ፣ GAT እና Remedial Exam በተሳካ ሁኔታ ለመፈተን እንዲሁም ሌሎች የዩኒቨርሲቲያችን የቴሌኮም አገልግሎቶች እንዲጠናከሩ ድርጅቱ ሙያዊ ድጋፍ ሊያደርግልን ይገባል ብለዋል፡፡
የመረጃ እና መገናኛ ቴክኖሎጂ (ICT) ዳይሬክተር መ/ር ቢንያም ወ/ገብርኤል በበኩላቸው ድርጅቱ ለዩኒቨርሲቲው የሚሰጠው የተለያዩ የቴሌኮም አገልግሎቶች አመስግነው በዌብሳይት፣ ፋይበር፣ እና ሌሎእ የዩኒቨርሲሲቲው የቴሌኮም አገልግሎቶች ችግር ሀሳብ አቅርበዋል፡፡
በዩኒቨርሲቲው የመረጃ እና መገናኛ ቴክኖሎጂ (ICT) የመሰረተ ልማት ዝርጋታ ቡድን መሪ የሆኑት አቶ ክፍለ አፅብሃ ዩኒቨርሲቲያችን በአሁን ሰዓት ያለበትን የተለያዩ የቴሌኮም አገልግሎቶች ችግር ለመፍታት አስቸኳይ ምላሽ ሊሰጠን ይገባል ብለዋል፡፡
ከዩኒቨርሲቲው አመራሮቹ እና መረጃ እና መገናኛ ባለሙያዎች ለተነሱ ቴሌኮም አገልግሎት ጥያቄዎች ከድርጅቱ የመጡ ባለሙያዎች (ሙሉ ወ/ስላሴ (ሪጅናል ዳይረክተር)፣ ጠዓመ ብርሃኑ (ዋየርለስ ማናጀር)፣ ሃይሉ ታደሰ (ኪይ አካውንት ሱፐርቫይዘር) ምላሽ ሰጥተዋል።
በመጨረሻም ድርጅቱ ከዩኒቨርሲቲያችን ጋር በመተባበር በዩኒቨርሲቲው የተለያዩዩ ዘመናዊ የቴሌኮም አገልግሎቶች እንደሚያስፋፋ ለማወቅ ተችሏል፡፡
