Community Based Training Program (CBTP) Orientation was given to 3rd Year Medicine and Health Science Students

Community Based Training Program (CBTP) orientation which is useful to keep the students with realistic, practical and relevant knowledge, skills and attitude for the improvement of the life of the community was given to third Year Students of Nursing , Medical Laboratory science and Midwifery departments on April 07, 2025 at the university’s Smart Room.

Mr. Brhanu Medhin, RU’s Medicine and Health Science College Research, community Service and Technology Transfer Coordinator, presented the meaning, purpose, significance, procedures, team composition and duties and responsibilities of students and experts and the implementation of community based training program.

Mr. Brhanu, in his presentation, added that the program will support to develop data collection tools, to perform community diagnosis and identify prevailing development problems related to profession, to make constraint analysis and scientific report writing, to characterize the community by their cultural practices, socio-economic, geographical, political and environmental aspects, to present their findings and to build their spirit of teamwork.

Students, on their part, said that the program will help them to take care of the health needs of their community with problem identification and solving skills and positive attitudes to serve the society.

የማህበረሰቡን ችግር ለይቶ ለመፍታት እና ዕውቀት፣ ችሎታ እና አመለካከት በመተግበር አዎንታዊ አመለካከቶችን ይዞ ማህበረሰቡን ለማገልገል እንዲያግዝ ለራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ 3ኛ ዓመት የህክምና እና ጤና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ ተማሪዎች የማህበረሰብ አቀፍ የቡድን ተግባር ተኮር ስልጠና ዛሬ መጋቢት 29/ 2017 ዓ/ምበዩኒቨርሲቲው ስማርት ክፍል ተሰጥቷል፡፡

መርሃ ግብሩ በዋናነት ተማሪዎች በአካባቢያቸው ባሉ ጤና ተቋማት እና ማህበረሰብ ዘንድ በመዝለቅ በትምህርት እና በተግባር ያገኙትን እውቀት እና ክህሎት ተጠቅመው የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት እንዲሰጡ ለማስቻል ያለመ ነው፡፡

የራያ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የህክምና እና ጤና ሳይንስ ኮሌጅ ምርምር፣ የማህበረሰብ አገልግሎት እና የቴክኖሎጂ ሽግግር አስተባባሪ የሆኑት መምህር ብርሃኑ መድህን፤ የማህበረሰብ አቀፍ የቡድን ተግባር ተኮር ስልጠና ትርጉም፣ ዓላማ፣ ፋይዳ፣ ሂደት እና አተገባበር ዙርያ ሙያዊ ማብራሪያ የሰጡ ሲሆን በተለይ መርሃ ግብሩ ተማሪዎች የማህበረሰቡን የጤና ፍላጎት ለማሟላት መረጃ ሳይንሳዊ በሆነ መንገድ ለመሰብሰብ እና ከሙያው ጋር የተያያዙ የማህበረሰቡን ችግሮች በመለየት እንዲፈቱ፣ ሳይንሳዊ ግኝታቸውን እንዲያቀርቡ፣ የቡድን ስራ መንፈስ ለማጎልበት፣ የማህበረሰቡን ኢኮኖሚያዊ፣ ማህበራዊ፣ መልክአ ምድራዊ፣ ፖለቲካዊ እና አካባቢያዊ ገጽታዎችን ለማጥናት ትልቅ አስተዋፅኦ እንዳለው አክለው ገልፀዋል፡፡

ተማሪዎች በበኩላቸው የአካባቢውን ማህበረሰብ የጤና ችግሮች ለመፍታት እና በተለያዩ የጤና ተቋማት ሙያዊ አገልግሎት ለመስጠት ጠቀሜታው የጎላ ነው ብለዋል፡፡
