Capacity Building Training on Innovation and Start-up Ecosystem was given to Academic Staff

Capacity Building Training on Innovation ecosystem, start-ups Ecosystem and management and incubation center administration was given to academic staff of the university at RU’s Smart Room.
The training aims to enhance the understanding and awareness of fostering innovation, supporting startups and building a strong entrepreneurial environment.
Mrs. Asmeret Kidane, .RU’s University Industry Linkage and Technology Transfer Director, briefed the introduction and objective of the training.
Mr. Berihun Hadis, RU’s Innovation Incubation Center Coordinator , explained the Innovation Ecosystem, Start-ups and Start- up ecosystem, Design thinking for Start-ups, Start-ups Management, duties, responsibilities and action plan of RU’s IIC.
Trainees, on their part, said that the training provided valuable insights and practical knowledge to strengthen their innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.
Deans, directors, coordinators, department heads and teachers were participated in the training; and certificate was given to the participants.
